To proceed with course registration, you must read and agree to Cancellation and
refund Policy: CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY: If you need to cancel for any reason: -If you cancel 30 days or more prior to the course, you will be refunded $140 (the tuition you paid minus a $35 administrative fee). -From 29 days till 14 days before the course, you will be refunded one half your tuition cost ($87.50) -From 13 days on there is no refund. If we are forced to cancel the course for any reason, you will receive a full refund. If you are recertifying as a WFR, you must also agree to recertification conditions. If you are not recertifying as a WFR, this section does not apply to you. WFR recertification: If you hold a current Wilderness First Responder or certification
from WMI, SOLO, NOLS, WMA or WPT, you will receive a WMI WFR or certification
upon successful completion of your WFA course. If you hold a current WFR certification
from any other wilderness medicine organization you will receive a
letter of course completion and a WMI Wilderness First Aid ceritfication, but
not a WMI WFR certification. This letter of completion may allow you to recertify
with your original certifying organization. You must contact that organization
prior to your WMI course to ensure that our course will meet their requirements
for recertification. WFR recerts are required to pass a practical examination on day two of the course. All WFR recert students with certification other than WMI are required to submit a photocopy of their WFR certification card or certificate. There is a one-year grace period for recertification of WMI cards. (Keep in mind that your certification is not current during this grace period and therefore can not work as a Wilderness First Responder.) |
